Launchpad Project Highlights

  1. Launchpad recently deployed a solution to address multi entity and multi currency expansion for a client that leverages Salesforce and Zuora. It included a Launchpad solution to align customer purchase transactions with the appropriate legal entity for both assisted sale/quoting and online/self service transactions and leverages Avalara for tax computation. The overall solution will enable future/new legal entities via configuration and minimal business system impact.

  2. Launchpad recently worked in conjunction with a client to deliver the first phases of a revenue analytics project. The client finance team was manually calculating revenue metrics, such as customer-level MRR, manually in a spreadsheet. The goal of the project was to leverage data from the client service platform, Salesforce, and Zuora, to automate this process and provide reporting results in Salesforce. Project goals were achieved to automate revenue metrics calculation and reduce errors by systematizing the process.

  3.  Launchpad acts as extension to a client team for all on-going updates and additions to their products and pricing and bundles in their Salesforce CPQ implementation. When their business adds new services and enhances existing services, resulting updates to the quoting application that is used by their sales reps is managed as a collaboration between the client and Launchpad teams.

  4.  Launchpad recently completed a quoting and billing assessment for a client that uses Salesforce CPQ and Zuora. Interviews were conducted with various members of their business system user community including finance, sales, and sales operations. An output of the assessment was provided with recommendations and estimates. Launchpad is now involved in implementing enhancements related to the recommendations made.

  5. Launchpad provides on-going support for Salesforce and Zuora for clients leveraging the new rollout of Jira Service Desk which enables our clients to quickly submit support requests and get quick responses from the Launchpad development team.

  6. Launchpad recently completed a project to merge Salesforce orgs for a client who made an acquisition. The project had multiple phases and resulted in the ultimate retirement of one of the Salesforce orgs. The migration included Salesforce accounts, contacts, opportunities, and related data, such as project data.

  7. Launchpad recently deployed an automated quote approval process in Salesforce for a client who was performing quote approvals for price discounts and contract terms manually in emails.

  8. One of Launchpad’s core service offerings is also staff augmentation. When our clients have project teams that need additional/temporary resources, Launchpad can staff development related resources that can be managed directly by the client project team, while Launchpad ensures that quality and performance standards are being met. Currently, Launchpad has staff augmentation being provided for Salesforce admin and development projects, Salesforce CPQ enhancement projects, and Salesforce Einstein projects.
